The "Doctor" in red is Lou Sanner, a private physician who works for UW Madison.

I guess they think that lying is OK. What kind of an example are they setting for the next generation?
Here is another supporting article of this story. They should fire anyone who got a "sick" form from these doctors and the doctors should face some sort of fine for doing that.

MediaTrackers is on the scene for today’s protests in Madison. They captured this doctor on video signing ’sick’ forms for union members skipping work. As you know, hundreds of schools across the state have been forced closed because teachers have called in ’sick.’ Yet another good lesson to be teaching the next generation. Stay tuned for more video and reports from Madison.

Video.

Doctors using HIPAA and their professional (fabricated) opinion to re-enforce a social agenda. Doesn't speak very highly for those in that profession.

The video brought up something that I suspected might be true, importation of protestors. I wonder how many of the protesters are actually from Wisconsin. Most I would think but how would one know.

Those docs should lose their license. Seriously. I dont care what the political agenda is, and they should no better. They work hard for that license and to do something that stupid.

Hmm, if all these teachers are "sick", I think this would be cause enough to declare an epidemic and quarantine all these pathetic louts until outside medical personel can figure out what is wrong with them. If they find nothing, then charge both the teachers and doctors with fraud.

By the way, here is a link to a thread on Free Republic which has Lou Sanner's email adress, as well as that of the head Medical Director Valerie Gilchrist. With enough complaints, we can maybe rid the profession of a few fraud comitting leftist skunks like the "doctor" in red in the video.

Beyond that the doctor is violating his oath, and is breaking his license to practice.

This story is full of people breaking the law.

1. The teachers "calling in sick", but aren't. They should be made to use vacation time or have their paychecks docked. If they don't return by a specified date, they should be FIRED.

2. The doctors handing out fraudulent medical excuses. They should be charged with fraud or otherwise sanctioned by the medical board.

3. The Democratic lawmakers who left the state. Their pay should be docked and their expense accounts suspended.

I wonder how much the Dems hiding out is costing the taxpayers of WI in hotel and entertainment expenses? You know they're not hiding out in a Motel 6 on the side of the interstate and eating Ravioli. It's all going on their expense account.

My personal opinion of the doctors is they should lose their medical license if it's proven they lied about a medical diagnosis to further a political agenda. Proving it, of course, is nearly impossible, which is why they don't care.

I wonder how long schools will be shut down? It'll be interesting to hear the outrage from parents and kids when they're told they have to make up those days in the summer. Of course, teachers don't get to start their summer until later, either.

That isn't really a crime.. it may be a violation of policy and have moral implications, but no crime was really committed. They should have just called it a 'personal' day and be done with it.

But the actions of the doctors are criminal..

Easy. The governor could issue an order that the fraudulent doctor's notes be kept when the teachers return. The doctor's name is on the note. Boom, busted.

Point taken. Criminal, no, a fire-able offense, yes.

True, but it is job abandonment and grounds for termination.

And if any one of us did that, would we still have our jobs? What makes them so special they can use a fake doctor's excuse, stay off the job as long as they want, and not lose their jobs?
