Not too surprising that a mother animal would feel attachment to their child. I find it interesting that she took it to another chimp, who examined it..

Heartbreaking to see how they don't understand death..or at least,as we do.

Yes, its sad to see animals try to cope with the loss of a friend or mate, or their human.
