I'm trying to get parts and decisions on rebuilding my 96 SW1 saturn 1.9L SOHC. I'm wanting new pistons. They have two different styles as far as rings go. One has 1.5mm top ring and the other 1.2mm top ring. What are the pros and cons of each ? Which would you pick and why ?
Thanks
Rick

.The thinner ring has less drag used for better MPG and performance.I would go with the thicker ring on a car used for Family transportation
