I was wrong,

The Rally Fighter is the next big thing in the automotive world, but you won’t find it any showrooms or on any dealer lots because you make this bad boy yourself. You buy a number, pay a deposit, and then head to a Local Motors micro factory to build your very own Rally Fighter from the ground up. With your Local Motors Guru (Car god / assistant / guide) and a user community as strong as 4chan, the build experience is kit car without all the mess. Here’s some stats for gear heads and adrenaline junkies alike: 3.0L BMW twin-turbo diesel outputting 265hp and 425 lb-ft of torque, 3200lb curb weight, 36mpg highway.

$55000

By the way, I used a Firefox add on called tiny eye to find the stuff I did.

I just right clicked on the picture posted, and it searched back to the earliest time it was posted (that it could find).

So far a handy app.

Seems interesting, and really not a terrible price for a handbuilt custom car with the kind of power they are talking.

I'm really curious about the interior. So far all I found was one picture of the dash, and it didn't impress me.

I don't think the interior is going to impress you..

But then.. if ya off roading it at high speed, last thing you want is this big floppy dash in front of you
The Dash is not something you want to bump your head on. Not even lightly..
On the up side.. For a true street car It has a lot of pros.
There is a many guys on here that could make this sweeet.

Just lux out the interor and you could have the best of both worlds.

I really love the bodystyle.

Me too. The front needs a truck style metal bar assembly with extra lights, and I'd put a .50 cal in place of that back window.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a real Halo Warthog. I LOVE that thing.

Agreed... and they nearly have (the axles are solid, rather than having individual axles and motors for each wheel like the game version seems to have).

Also, has anyone else noticed they stole the brake lights from a newer Mercedes sedan? (SL maybe?)
