I applied for a civil engineering position that opens within the next 30-45 days. The HR person sent me a link to submit a skills assessment prior to a face to face interview in a few weeks. I think that I did very well, but the suspense is killing me. I dont know why when a question was about a "CAD" system it just didn't say AutoCad.

There are many preferred CAD systems when dealing with maps/grids/objects (Microstation V8, Vega, Catia, Inventor, Solid Edge, Sketchup, Solidworks, USG NX 6.0, etc). This is more of an aptitidue for concepts and terminology most of them use. I think I did well despite no training or experience in surveying.

PS - If any of you are sure of answers, feel free to assume the bullets are A,B,C,D,E and T/F.

I was hoping for an answer like that after I posted. They never got back with me. At least I have a better understanding of why.
