Whenever I am working on my own, I always seem to end up with some song or other running through my mind..I don't know why, but this is the tune of the day Heaven only knows why it came to me after something like 57 years ...

And this was another I really loved, and sang all the time when I was a kid:

And another

Is it any wonder I am deranged nowadays...and to be able to find them on youtube is just unbelievable
Nick

Well,Boonie...they say that when you are dying, your life flashes before your eyes in a millisecond...maybe mine is in slo-mo, and I've still got a wee while yet

And this one's not from my childhood, but it's a fun one that my kids turned me onto a while back...

Perhaps the 1st song I remember hearing.
and
In a lonely shack by a railroad track, I spent my younger days
and I guess that the sound of the outward bound- made me a slave, to my wanderin ways..........

Wow - White Bird. I haven't heard that in years. Had a real flashback. I remember the girls melted for that song.

I still have the original vinyl for that one. "It's A Beatuiful Day" were cutting edge for their time in use of strings in a rock song.

---------------

Nice call ,Cheever. '+' for you just for giving me a good mental buzz.
