I bought you a card, Hugh, but haven't sent it yet. I am such a procrastinator. But here is the sentiment. I thought it fit you well.
In a world that does its best to leave us a little fuzzy around the edges, some people still manage to leave bold outlines.
They know who they are, and what they are about, what they alone can give.
And just like them, the gifts they share are bold, bright, and beautiful.
You are someone who does not compromise on being the person that only you could be, someone who doesn't hold back on sharing the gifts that only you could give.
And especially today I, for one, just want to say thank you thank you thank you.
Have a wonderful birthday, with much love from Jeffery and Barbara.
Please keep this at the top today to honor a genuinely nice person.

Another year brings us reason to celebrate, A year changed on the calendar Is yet another thread in life's rich tapestry. Another day weaving and there Is beauty in the colors and the shape Of what you add to our lives, The beauty of a heart that gives. What a beautiful sentiment, so eloquently expressed. Incredible this thread spans three years, and they have passed so quickly. May I add, as usual, my fond and affectionate regards to a true Gentleman, who is to this Forum the epitomy of a thoroughly wonderful person.. Maybe , if you could find him,a Man of such stature and integrity such as Hugh would make a woinderful President of thre USA And once again, as Don said, thanks to Jeff for bringing Hugh's birthday to our attention God bless, and many happy returns Hugh! Another year brings many celebrations, and with all due respect to Dr. King, the first holiday of the year that I look forward to year after year is the birthday of my dearest friend and role model, Mr. Hugh Lemma. I say dearest friend, because despite my failures he still cares enough to call me to make sure I am doing ok, and role model because although I don't see myself ever achieving his level of class or success, either personally or professionally, he accepts me for who I am.
Hugh, I know that you have some pain that could easily consume you if it were allowed to fester. Please accept the love and admiration of a couple of kids who wish their dads had acted more like you.
Barbara and Jeffery.

Jeff and Barbara, you will always be my friends. It is a little hard for me to respond, since my eyes are watering (after reading all that has been written). It must be the dry air here on the east coast. Thank you to all those who posted and those who didn't.Today is a day to be thankful for all that I have(my friends,my health and my family). Not everyone reaches the age of 72 ! I have some pain in my life, but that is lessened by my friends on here.Again, THANK YOU ALL !!!!
