watched a few of the show when they were on tv. Hes just too rude and crude for even me. Those that like him....enjoy. To me hes just an annoyance...I dont have to listen to him.

Al Sharpton wants to have all conservatives chased from public air ways. I'd support removing Howard from paid airways. I just won't pay for crap radio.

Thought he was "ok" when I was a teenager, would listen to him sometimes as I was getting ready to go to school. Don't really find him too funny anymore. Opie and Anthony were almost as bad, but I found them a bit funnier...
Definitely not my cup of tea and never was--radio or TV. Too rude, vulgar, and just comes off as a jerk--and boring as heck. I have "heard" however, that his real life is 180 out from his on air personna, and that he helps a great # of people in dire need..

+1. I listen to Opie and Anthony on the way into work, and then listen to the replay on the way home. There are a lot of times I find them just plain vulgar...especially Anthony and Jim Norton. But then there are other times, when they're interviewing people, and it becomes interesting.

When I was 14, I thought he was funny and cool, and all his talk about sex, boobs, and bathroom stuff totally matched my maturity level.
I'm guessing I've matured, because I can't stand listening to middle-aged men talk to prostitutes, **** -stars, and homeless people... it's lame.
Now I listen to Radio 610 WIOD and listen to Todd Schnitt, Mark Levin, Finance Hour, and Fox News Radio.
Yup... it's happened...
Chapin rocks-his was the best concert that I ever attended(OK until I saw the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac recently). Oh, Howard Stern. There's a reason he wears sun glasses; that's one UGLY dude! His show isn't any better looking either.
I'm with you Boonie, I enjoy listening to Howard in the morning. I'm bummed when he goes on vacation, I prefer the "fresh" shows. I've been listining since 94, intitially I didn't like him but was "forced" to listen and grew to like him. I only bought Sirius so that I could listen to his show and am glad he signed another contract. BABA-BOOEY to ya all! -Jason

While I will admit that Stearns has become a financial success with his show, his common denominator is selling sex and sexually explicit language. He's a shock jock. I don't find much entertainment value in what he has to offer, I don't find any social value in his show and I find absolutely no value in paying for the privelige to listen to his crap. So, I guess you could say I'm not really a fan. I can hear the same thing down on the dock or out behind the highschool if I care to make that journey and it's free.
