I feel I know Rumor well enough that I can post this for the benefit of everyone on the forum....

FieroRumor's guide to posting:

Step 1: Read thread that someone has posted in T/OT. If it is political, go to step 2. Humorous, skip to step 3. Related to a technological topic of some kind, skip to step 4.

Step 2: Write a profound analogy that gets people to think about things. Skip ahead to step 5.

Step 3: Make silly comment, adding anecdote. Skip ahead to step 5.

Step 4: Talk about a project you are currently working on, or have put aside recently involving similar technology. Skip ahead to step 5.

Step 5: Make reference to ducks either A: watching you or B: secretly plotting the downfall of mankind with their squirrel allies.

For all posts, include comment about penguins.

Bonus credit: Write an app related to penguins/squirrels/thingie/ducks, release to PFF General Population.

You summed things up nicely, except you forgot bacon. But bacon could be subsittued w/ cabbages, Thingie, or about a half dozen other "memey" things. Just remember, the squirrels and ducks are NOT allies.
I try to stay away from politics and religious stuff because I don't want to offend people, or waste time arguing things, imo, that rarely leads to any actual progress or tangible outcome....

I have some stuff I'd like to share, I also want other people to share their special stuff, the stuff they're too busy with life crap to have the time to share.

I have some some deep desire to be a catylist of positive change. But sometimes, my meaty weaknesses and exhaustion overwelms me. And in that state, things bug me more. I hate people living less then their purposeful life (I don't want to TELL them what their 'purpose is" , I just want to help 'unblock" the crap that's holdin' them down so they can enjoy their own life more...)

That's probably what my wife sees in me...the POTENTIAL...
Nothing worse then a life wasted. A life filled w/ regret. Regret hold you back, keeps you from enjoying possibilities.

Ok, Need to start things again, Been 'down' too long. TOO long on "damage control". Been on "limp home" mode too long...

Even if it's isn't pretty, I'll start up my stuff again this week.

Rumor, you don't need to tell me what my special purpose is for... I discovered what it was for recently! In fact, I wrote home about it to my family.
They were kind enough to record it.

One of my favorite moments in one of my favorite movies.

Sometimes, even if you don't "like" something, you appreciate that it was created, that it exists in the world...
