So back around Christmas time (actually before), I came across a Sony Vaio PCG-Z1VAP laptop. Figured what the hell, good price and FWIW a good brand of laptop. I've looked into Vaio laptops before and always like the look, style, features, etc. Got the specs on it from the seller, its a Centrino 1.6ghz, 1gb ram, wireless B built in NIC, ATI mobility radeon at 16mb (32mb max I believe), 55gb hdd, and a 14.1 screen.
Well come to find out, it also has bluetooth built in

That in my mind is a neat little feature (remember, I went from a 10 year old laptop with a P3 in it lol)
So last night I come home, and there is a big ole box sitting in the mud room (front porch for those of you non Nebrakans) from UPS...Open it up to find the laptop.
At this point, I'm sold on Vaio laptops. I will definitely buy another one in the future

The battery life is awesome! Was at 85% when I turned it on out of the box, and had over 4 hours left

And the weight isn't terribly unbearable either

nice and light, will make a great travel laptop with a larger hdd. Leaves the HP I got coming as a desktop replacement like its supposed to be (they are friggin heavy, worked on a compaq one recently)
Still trying to figure out some of these features though

Like the 2 buttons marked P1 and P2, and the magicgate reader (wtf is magicgate?)
Only gripe I have about it so far is that is 802.11B only

Wish it supported 802.11G. 11Mbps kinda sucks lol. I want my 54Mbps back. And considering my router is B/G...
Guess I could always put a G card in...
