If anybody knows of a inexpensive laptop deal on Cyber Monday, give me a shout. I wanted the $198 one at Wal-Mart, but I would have had to spend my Thanksgiving in Wal-Mart in order to get it. I'd like it for my daughter.

Would you spend an extra $100 to get an awesome one?
Amazon has a Toshiba netbook with: * 1.66GHz Intel N280 Atom Processor * 1GB DDR2 533MHz Memory * 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, Integrated Wi-Fi * 10.1" LED Backlit Display, 1024x600 native resolution (WSVGA) * Microsoft Windows 7 Starter (32 bit), *9 Hours of Battery Life
This was the best deal I can find on any of the netbooks. The only thing is that you can only get it at the low price of $309 in the color black. Any other color it goes up to the $399 level.
So if you can deal with black, it's an awesome one, reliable name-brand computer.

I'm not sure about today, but Acer is an amazing laptop (we have 2), and its always cheap. That will be your best bang-for-the-buck.
Acers are great laptops. We have two, and they have never given a problem.
Hardy har, har. I only pay cash nowadays. I don't think I'm going to find any great deals. I've poked around at a few sites and haven't seen anything. I'm looking for a great score, not the bestest or mostest powerful laptop I can get. I really don't want a netbook, but would consider it. I can get netbooks like everyone has described, for $299, at work any time I want.

Also going to give a thumbs up to Acer. Have two Acer laptops, and my Acer Aspire One netbook. This little netbook has survived a year in Iraq, a few times being subjected to 120 degree heat and sand for an hour, and still running strong.

I own one of these. I bought mine on clearance when Circuit City went out of business. This is even cheaper than I bought mine for. It is well worth it. These Logitech remotes will easily replace all of your other remotes. The best part IMO is that Logitech constantly updates their database so when you get new equipment, you just punch it into the software and download the new codes. It is also great to just hit one button to change the TV settings, sound reciever settings, and turn on the satelite reciever to watch TV. Then hit another button to change everything over to watch a DVD.
