That one isn't one of the worst ones, it has front suspension. Yeah, they are death traps. You can use the engine to make a cool gokart though.

What a tool, They are definitely not death traps. I have been riding them for quite a long time and im still walking. Their just not as moron proof as quads are. And even the hardtails and the original us90s are extremely safe if treated with respect. People are just idiots and go along with what others say. As soon as the cpsc got involved, everyone got scared except for true enthusiast. Now in 10 years or so people will look at the banned kids minibikes and quads and say "yep them there things are dangerous" All because people are all SHEEP.

I have a Yamaha similar to that but it has NO suspension and I think it's a 125. Sat unused for several years and dad took it to his place and overhauled it for something to do last winter. Runs like a champ and great fun. At one time my two brothers and I had 4 of them and none of us had any real injuries from them.

Kids today are such wussies.

Best Line!
"It really would be a cool thing to turn up to the dunes on because everyone else would think you got lost there in 1985 and still haven't found your way out."

And yeah I know alll about the....
Only the front end has suspension, so when you hit a bump the rear jumps off the ground, then applying throttle to level the bike out causes the front wheel to come off the ground and leave you with no steering. What a great invention!

I was on my friends Big Red YEARS back and lets just say thank GOD I had my riding boots on or I would of pulled both of my feet off of my legs when I did the above. I went flying right between two trees that were only wide enough for the front end! The trees and my legs had enough force to actually bend the rear axles!!! I had to buy him new tires and axles and I threw in some foot protectors (those net looking guards), but I could still walk! LAst time I've been on a 3er

A friend of a friend used to have an annual weekend-long hog roast / beer blast at his place in north FL.
Had a 3 wheeler that was stored in the barn.
Of course the partiers knew about the thing, from association with the host or from previous parties, and would eventually drag it out and try to ride it (fortified by the alcohol, of course.)

It caused so many injuries that the parties soon became known as 9-1-1 parties.
It got to the point that the guy would take the spark plug out and suspend it from the rafters in the barn, and people would still try to get it down and ride it.
