Ok, This is old news, but since I don't get on here as much, I still thought I'd get a few brownie points by showing it off. My wife has loved the Chevy HHR since she saw at the auto show a few years back, and has wanted one ever since. We decided to down size and get one. I bought it for her as her Mother's day gift and she completely loves it. It's Midnight Blue Metallic.

Here are a couple of quick (read bad) pictures

We also did a little mod. Found this on e-bay. It is the Chevy lettering from the 40's to give it a nostalgic look. It is funny, it also added 10 hp to it. LOL

Thanks for looking.

Looks good, I've always liked to HHR. The Chevrolet lettering looks like it should be there

We rented one the last time we were in Florida. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the location of the power window switches and the fact that the cargo area was smaller than I expected. It's a pretty cool looking vehicle though.

Well,

SInce it's a family Forum I can safely say I got a box of shop towels, a nice golf shirt, a pair of Khakis and a work light.

Laurie said the window switches were a pain at first, but now she is used to their location. I do not drive her cars very often, but I took it for a spin yesterday, and it took me a minute finding the darn things. As for the cargo area, I drove a P/T Cruiser as a rental car and the HHR has a lot more space in the back. We are able to fit my sons goalie bag in the back of it with no problem. Anyone who has played hockey will know right away that a goalies bag is HUGE.
