I drove one of these for a while in Europe a few years ago. I've wanted one ever since but more often than not they've either been dogged to crap, are in Europe and have to be shipped or have been converted to Chevy V8s. The styling is almost exactly like that of the Ferrari 365 but comes without the obligatory Italian headaches.

The owner won't tell me what his reserve price is. I'm trying to think of what I can do without this year

Here's the Ferrari;

If you can get an exploded view of an mid-80's Opel Senator, you'll be able to tell. I can tell you that the Bitter drives like a mid-sized Benz coupe or one of the earlier Bimmer 6 series like the 635, M6 or Alpina. In the European configuration (which I assume is the same one that imported to the US) the suspension is stiff but not brutal. The SC was meant to be a luxury four-seater that could haul serious a$$ and it definitely lived up to expectations.....and looked sexy as possible in the process.

The fact is the car looked and behaved like one that cost 10 times more. Seriously, I've spent time today trying to figure out how I can wedge this into my budget!

Beauiful car!
I've seen pics of these. Have never seen one in person, that I know of.

Good luck if you decide to take the plunge.
