Just got a flyer for anyone looking for a new TV. The company is H.H. Gregg and sale is for Jan 12 &13 ONLY

Westinghouse LCD 32" HD..................$599.
Olevia LCD 37" HD..................$799
Hitachi LCD ultravision HD 50"...$999

Panasonic Plasma HD 42"....................$1299
............................HD 50"....................$1999

I dont know pricing where you are, but these all seem like very good deals to me.

Thanks for the heads up.
I expected that this would happen soon after Christmas. I also expect they'll keep dropping.
I might even be ready to buy one by next winter.

for prices here in Australia you can triple that.
And when I ask why the prices are so high they say cause of the US to Aussie dollar.
I say I am buting in Australia an Japanese product and the Australian Dollar is near 80 cents to the US dollar
meaning the product is made in Japan and shipped to Australia.
Not to the USA and they say the US dollar makes it higher priced.
I am confused

Triple? Haven't bought a TV in a while huh?

Panasonic Plasma HD 42"....................$1299 US = 1,665.84
Found the same one online in Australia for $2250 including bonus stand. A trip to the good guys or Harvey Norman will get it for $1995.
More expensive yes, triple no. Then take the average wage into consideration and we are paying less.
