He went out way too easy. Given time to write final letters, have a last meal, etc. His execution was carried out per Islamic law and his body handled accordingly. Not like that of his victims.
What would have been cool is if those four hooded executioners whipped off their masks and they were Saddam look alikes. . And they started laughing hysterically. "You were killed by yourself Saddam."

I think death was too good for him. He should have had the privilege of living a very long, full life. And each day of that life the families of his victims each got to choose one day of torture for him. Give it its own 24/7 channel like the Truman Show. That way his followers could see him broke down. No “paradise full of virgins” for him.
