Good job. I tried to get a quote that wouldn't be too obvious right off the bat. "Here's looking at you, kid." seemed a bit obvious.

Sorry, been gone.

Lots of good quotes from this movie.

guy #1 : How often do you guys go on a bender like this?
guy #2: Bender? This isn't a bender, this is night-time!

here's more...

You know, that would make a great TV commercial? 'Excuse me, is that an Uzi?' 'Why, yes it is. Hey, self-defense is no laughing matter! That why when I want number one I pack an Uzi...accept no substitutes.'

#1: I don't wanna crash twice in one day!
#2: Don't worry, I crash better that anyone I know.

Well the problem is Rob, you and I weren't here, this conversation never happened, so I cant remember what the ^^^^ you didn't tell me!

Colosus: The Forbin Project. Good movie.

Here's one for you:

"I tell you Sid, that one of these days we'll look in to our microscope and find ourselves staring right into God's eyes, and the first one who blinks is going to lose his testicles."

John Stricker

Edited to add a second quote because the movie is pretty obscure:

B: You have two labs?
H: Each has its place. At the university, I try to please the Federal Government. Here, I negotiate with God.

That took less than 30 minutes. I'll have to dig deep into my movie vault for something in the true depths of obscurity.

I'm ashamed to admit, yes.

Earth Girls are Easy.

We sure watch a lot of trash movies. And they say cable TV isn't worthwhile.

John Stricker

Forgot a quote: "Dewey... Dewey didn't make it... "

That one's pretty easy.

Silent Running.
I'll see your old movie and raise you one:

This one is familiar, but I can't place it. I refuse to cheat by googling it. (If I do surrender to googling, I won't post the answer).

PS: I'm very disappointed no comments on the Republican part of the quote from you.

i was going to edit the quote to correct it. "he" should have been "they".

but you got it anyway
(it's my favorite movie, so it was a natural first entry for me.)

This is a movie quote thread, John.
Not a political thread.
Here, have a beer, friend.
We'll surely lock horns again later.
Jereimiah Johnson is one of my all time favorites. I never get tired of it.
