Hers a few samples of what i've done or am getting ready to do on the scroll saw... I was curious if anyone had any portraits or anything they'd like scrolled into a piece of wood for a price... not sure what id charge etc. Just have to see how complicated it'd be...

drawing i made a few years ago that id like to scroll...
This images is larger than 100K. Click to view.

this one needs no intro... its an inlay/scroll

I'll be starting this one toorrow for the girlfriend... her birthdays coming up...

It may take several days etc, but I can get pictures made into patterns for scrolling or making inlays... if your interested in something LMK, I'll see what i can do. Just tring to make some bux doing something I love...

the scroll sawing isnt it... but it something i can do when it rains etc... I like fiberglassing, but thats very time consuming as well, and theres usually weather and stuff so its difficult (saving up for a shed now... so i dont have to avoid weather)

Id like to learn how to do inlays like on guitars (but the materials are like trying to buy carbon fiber... they're outrageously priced.)

just LMK what u're thinkin... I'll help out if i can. I believe my limit for scrolling is 26" but i'll check tomorrow and let everyone know... I think thats all the bigger the table is... Im going to attempt laying up a flat piece of fiberglass and try scrolling it and see what it does... a few weeks i'll try it...

Nice work!!

I have a scrollsaw but never used it much... I dont have the patience for the detail! lol I perfer my bandsaw and larger toys..

Besides the hosting company, I run a construction company. I love the framing & structural stuff but hate the detail work..

Have you tried putting one of the fiero inlays on ebay?

I work for a general contractor by day, Brechbill & Helman Const. Co.

I prefer not to do much past trim work on the job, but i like making things on the scroll saw for fun...

Haven't tried putting one on ebay (for some reason i can never list stuff right on there...) But its a thought, if i knew how to list stuff right...

Im going to be tring to make more inlays soon (unlike the one pictured theres very few of it thats considered an inlay... most of it was cut out on the scroll saw.)

Check around at some local places like cabinet makers and stuff for free/cheap scrollsaw wood.

One of my friends works at a cabinet place here where they do high end cabinets for embassys, hotels, etc.. and he has a garage full of the sink cutouts that they have been tossing.. (I have a few hundred as well) The cutouts I have are around 14x14" and high end plywood like beach plywood, oak, etc.. Perfect for stuff like your doing.

Awesome. My only suggestion is to move the connecting thinger on the "o" in Fiero so it looks less like an 'a' or 'e' at first glance..?

Another project that I've done and recently sold (keep in mind i can always cut out another if you'd like one) You can see more detail in one picture than in the other as it is a closer shot of the project...

Got a picture or a general subject (such as hunting or fishing, or wild west themed portraits, etc.) that you'd like made into a keepsake or what not, please feel free to ask questions as Im always open to tring new things. I've got several hundred patterns i can cut out anytime. Drop me a line let me know if theres something you're thinking about that you'd like cut out.

Im honestly not out to make a killing on my work or get rich, but I'm out to provide quality, custom work thats hard to come by anymore. I've done several projects that weren't worth the time spent in them for me, but someone was very pleased to see the quality and it's put a huge smile on someones face. That's what it's all about. Thanks to everyone whose sent me a PM, or given me a phone call encouraging me to keep up the exellent work. It's appriciated

Feel free to send me a Pm / Email about a project on your mind.
