I run Linux and flood control is no issue

There are ways of making floodgate think a minute has gone by when 5 seconds actually has. It's a Time Lord thing. Sorry Cliff.

Well, if it's a bogus code that microsoft encripted then it will show a series of numbers with OEM stuck in the middle. A valid code is 5 sets of 5 numbers and letters.

OK....... Thanx for all your help guys, I think I have this down..!!! only thing is that i have no dvd rom drive just yet, and that means no burner just yet........ Though I did ask for one for x-mas this year......lol........

me too I bet I have twenty win98 discs laying around, and a few 95 discs as well. I only had the one ME disc but I hated winME and only had that installed for a couple months before I bought XP pro.
