6am-6pm at the dealership (were moving) and 8pm-1:30am at the club. And to think I was supposed to have today through next thursday off to go up north and visit friends and family I haven't seen in over a year. Plans change, I guess.

I'm the only one in the company that'll be working tomorrow. We finally got new computers. But there was a catch the boss didn't tell me about. I have to set them up tomorrow. Grumble, grumble, grumble. Oh well, at least I don't get paid for my time.

Not working per se, but must clean up the house (anyone who knows me knows it's a BIG house, industrial sized 19th century estate house) and cook for 10 people. So yeah, I'm working

I feel like Archie MacDonald (Monarch of the Glenn).

6AM to 11:30AM for me...

Entirely Voluntary, no Time and a Half... I am making up for missing several hours on Sunday...
I work Friday though, and that is purely overtime... 6 days of work this week.

I'll spend the morning 'working' on my fiero, then go inside for a big lunch with some friends and family, finally I will 'work' on a few beers and drift off into a nap. Sorry to those of you who will be working harder than me. Happy stuffed bird day.

Ill be frying a turkey at a friends house up in South Park ( yes there is a South Park, the catch is that it's an area not a specific town.) After that I'll clean up the mess Iv'e made pulling a Northstar out of a 95 Seville.

Not celebrating Thanksgiving so I'll be racking and mowing the leaves that last weekend's storm brought down at the house, and doing some serious pruning on the various things growing as they're starting to look fairly unkempt. Not getting paid, though, so don't know if that counts as "working".

You should just make a lump sum payment and buy the insurance company!

Funny you should mention it...

I work for a growing corporation in the Training Dept. We request our days off thru our computer system, and the requests get forwarded up to corporate. Since I'm newly married, and this year is a year of firsts I asked for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off so we could have or first Thanksgiving together at my Father's in AZ. I put this request in 2 months ago. It was denied. Why?

"Becuase you're part of the Training Department. You already have Thanksgiving off. Resubmit the request for just Wed and Friday off and we'll approve it"

So I do. and it sits in the system as pending for 1 1/2 months. Then comes the announcement:

"Training no longer has holidays off. We left it as pending because the final decision wasn't made until recently but we thought it might be coming. Resubmit it with all three days off and we'll aprove it"

So I did. And it was denied. Why?

"Not enough PDO alotments left. you should have requested this earlier..."

F**Kers...
