WOW I dont feel so bad anymore. I have gone through several PS2 controlers but I gave up long before this kid does. If a game gets to me that much I give it to my friend who runs a video store and I dont play it after that

Man I hate those stupid camping snipers, nothing worse than respawn - die - respawn - die - respawn - run like crazy thow a greanade - die of a head shot.
That's the reason I don't play first person shooters anymore.
Games like Halo, I'd hate the snipers who'd get you from across the level. So I would usually just get in a vehicle and run them over or blast them. Of course, then they'd whine about my tactics and get me banned from their little server . It does feel good to go from being royally pissed off over a sniper, to running them over or blasting them from the sky.
Its also why I don't play mmos anymore. PVP always frustrated me to no end.
That's why I like Team Arena Master in UT2004. There is no sniping in most modes. Plus if you stay in the same spot for more then 10 seconds you get 50 health taken off.

I'll have to watch the vid at home. But yeah, I've destroyed a keyboard in my time. A friend of mine actually kept spare keyboards on hand because he'd get ticked off and break them over his knee. Good thing he used cheapo keyboards.

I have gotten angry at lots of stuff. But I've never punched or thrashed anything. I have always practiced control. I never got why a person would yell or beat up an inanimate object. You are really just beating up on yourself.
And for the gaming record, theres no such thing as "camping". "Spawn camping", yes. But that's it.
If I set up as a sniper, overlooking a location I know the enemy will come to, that is not camping. That's doing my job.
For instance, setting up on a hill overlooking an enemy runway. I know the enemy will be seeking aircraft. It's my job to deny them that.
But SOME will say that's "camping". It is not. Those same people don't call it camping when they run down, place a explosive on an aircraft, run back up the hill and detonate the pack as soon as someone gets in the aircraft. So how can they call a sniper a camper? There is nothing wrong about exploiting & controlling a target rich enviorment.
"Spawn camping", on the other hand, is indeed wrong. But it is also THE ONLY CAMPING there can be! Everything else is fair game.

I wholeheartedly agree.
The sniper's job is to sit in one place, and kill anything that gets within it's "target range". A sniper is not infantry, and therefore should not be expected to play as such.

I'm with you on that. But anger can be constructed to make you play better actually. It makes you focus, kinda like using the dark side of the force. Muwahaha!

If a game is setup correctly and balanced then you would be correct But when a person can shoot you behind cover then its a bug. I know I'm just a cry baby and cant play the game. That’s why I loved to death match in the old Doom 2 games. So much fun and limited ammo even when you knew where the spawn points are you still had a chance. I do like the idea of loosing health when you don’t stay moving.
Now not all games have these bugs sometimes it people cheating. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.

mx 2003 featuring ricky carmichael last race of the whole game. the f'ing championship. could place second everytime but not third. and everytime it was a very close race, and everytime i lost because the cpu oponite would knock me off the f'ing track, couldn't take it anymore thru my controler on the ground , picked it back up and busted it in half.
when i worked at eb we had a warentee u could buy that we would replace the item you had the warentee on no matter how it broke. there was this insanly buff guy with a short temper in like once a week to replace controler. he would get mad at games very eaisly and break the things like they where little twigs. his warentee expired once and we still replaced it, knowing if we made him angry, we would look like the controler.

Lol, Boondawg, you've never played America's Army. The most common form of camping is in assault/defense maps. Defence has x amount of riflemen and 2 snipers. Same for assault. Assault has a set amount of time to reach an objective. But for some reason, most assault snipers just sit there, in their hiding spot halfway across the map until they have 15 seconds left. I've seen normal riflemen do it as well If that's not camping, then I'm less sane than I thought...
But then again, once you're dead, you're dead until the team wins or loses. I agree with you on the anger towards inanimate objects, though. If I'm having a bad day, I just find another server or turn off the computer and do something productive

I agree with Boondawg about the camping. And I think taking health points for remaining stationary is retarded.
I don't play military-style games online anymore, because the knobs who play those games don't know anything about military tactics. I was actually banned from a Counterstrike server once for setting up a MG roost. And was kicked from a few others (in CS and DOD)... for setting up MG positions. They called it camping. Well, WTF are you supposed to do with a machinegun? Run around and shoot it off the hip?

And here I thought he was making apolitical statement last night in my "WTF is goin' on with my %*%^* PC" thread... (his image changed from a pc app screenshot to some G W Bush recipe)
...it's like there's an entire thread trapped inside one of ryah.hess's posts. Damn I wish I could post photos from here, 'cause this is freakin' weird.
