When I was in school there used to be small 5x7ish size 3(?) ring notebooks. Like the larger standard size 3 ring binders. Are these still available? I stopped at my local office supply store and they did not have them but it is a smaller store. Do they still exist?

Well, no luck with the purchasing people as they out for the weekend it looks like. However, what I have is the 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" 3-ring binders.
Wilson Jones #WLJ79671 for the black 1" size.
Wilson Jones #WLJ364-10NBL for the blue 1" size
Wilson Jones #WLJ79681 for the black 2" size.
I used these to archive old pages from the little day planner pages at one time. Now I find them handy for use as little log books for various activities.
I found these numbers in an Office Depot big book, so you may be able to special order them from them.
about $5 for the 1" size, and $7 for the 2" size.

Looked at address books. They are the right size etc but the pages are full of printing. They would be good if I could get plain pages.

i just spit out my diet coke! $65 for a little leather binder!
for that kinda money, go buy an address book, a paper cutter and a three ring paper punch.
Like I said they are pricy, but if you have ever used the Franklin system, you would not mind paying for it. I have used one since 1992, and they keep me well organized for work. The binders are of top quality. The leather binders are normally top grain leather, which lasts a long time. When you use somthing like this everyday, #1 you want it to last and #2 you want the thing durable so that it looks nice down the road. In 14 years of use, I have owned 2 of these binders. I bought both of them an sale for $99.00 each (Monarch, which is a full size). That equates to $14.29 per year. So I can buy a cheap binder every year, or buy one that lasts.
just a thought?
