Damn the Denali. I have a 99 GMC Denali and all hell is breaking loose inside.

The following dont work:
Auto headlights
Power locks
All interior lighting including the mirrors
Power mirrors

Now this happened years ago and it was a BCM, so I thought it could be the same. I bought a used BCM and it did not work only for me to learn that they need to be programed with your vehicles info. So the dealer charged me $150 to tell me the BCM and computer are not responding. That is with the new one. Before I put the old one one back in and waste another $150 to see if they are communicating, anyone have any advice?

much appreciated!

A Baby Suburban!

We have 2 Suburbans on the farm, 86, and 94. Thank god they don’t have any electrical, computer problems.

Just had to say that, sorry I can’t help with your problem but at least it’s a bump to the top.

Someone here is a GM Tech and I’m sure he can help you with it. I just haven’t kept up to date since I left in ‘90, sorry.

Was the used module in service in another vehicle? Apparently these modules can only be programmed ONCE, which means you have to buy a new one. Gotta love GM.
I work on high end import junk, so I hope that is correct.
