Had this Iggy since he was a teeny little baby. Acted like a dog, used a litterbox like a cat.
Had him for about 12 years, had to give him up when I was livin'/workin' in NJ for a week at a time...


"Giger" is the guy on the right...


African Vieled Chamelon. He was friendly (for a chamelon) He would use that funky tongue to *ziot* food out of my hand. (he rarely missed.)

Hafta track down my other pics...

Rumor, I've seen that picture before and I thought Giger was just another one of your plastic toys.

Chameleons have got to be one the weirdest looking/acting critters. Makes them all the more adorable though.

They are slow odd buggers...till they see themselves in a mirror! THEN, LOOK OUT!

Talk about a rainbow of colors! They flash different colors, turn into tiger stripes, etc...(or turn VERY VERY black if they think they are the "underdog") They also puff out the sides of the veil, and open their mouth and hissssssssss!
It's VERY stressful for 'em though.

This is a picture of a long gone anole buddy of mine taken 25 years ago. The interesting thing about this image (for me anyway ) is that it was the only time I ever used a Polaroid instant camera (instead of 35mm) to take a picture of one of my lizards.
