I just now got this as part of an email from the Constitution Party of Texas:

quote

Whether or not Americans realize it, many events and reports of the day
are interrelated. It would be impossible to exagerate the importance of
these matters to the future of the United States of America. The global
planners are moving swiftly to accomplish their goals while Americans
shake their heads in amazement and bewilderment.

We've noted the open border crisis with the allowance of illegal aliens
condoned and even amnesty and special benefits promoted. We've seen the
heads of the U.S., Mexico, and Canada meeting to form an alliance like
that of the European Union, called the North American Security and
Prosperity Partnership (SPP). There is detailed information about the
new NAFTA Super Highway being planned to divide America in two from
Texas to Minnesota financed by the country of Spain.

Now there are reports of actual bills in the Senate with the obvious
purpose of furthering and financing the Security and Prosperity
Partnership with the goal of uniting these three countries. Mind you,
[neither] our Congress, nor our people, have discussed the proposal of
surrendering our sovereignty by such a union, yet our president is
involved in this impeachable venture with other nations.

The North American Investment Fund Act (S.3622) has recently been
introduced in our Senate. The stated purpose of this bill is: "To
authorize the President to negotiate the creation of a North American
Investment Fund between the Governments of Canada, Mexico, and the
United States to increase the economic competitiveness of North America
in a global economy." Notice the emphasis on economic. This is the
manner in which the European Union was imposed upon the nations of
Europe while the political union of these countries was being planned
from the beginning.

The bill introduced in the Senate is a prelude to the formation of a
North American Union or SPP. It's stated purpose in Section 3:

1. To increase the economic competitiveness of North America in a
global economy;

2. To reduce the income gap between Mexico and Canada, and between
Mexico and the United States; and

3. To promote economic development in Mexico in the areas of
infrastructure, education, technology, and job training.

Should this bill become effective, grants are to be awarded from the
Fund for projects to carry out the purposes above, including road
construction, education, communications, and job training in Mexico.
Thus the United States taxpayer is again being tapped to finance Mexico
through a North American Development Bank---while the United States
carries a nearly $3 trillion budget and an $8 trillion (or more) federal
deficit.

In part, these are the latest plans of the internationalists, the
global governance group, the New World Order. They are unrelentless in
this goal to bring in their world "utopia." ...

If you're not familiar with the NAFTA SuperHighway, just do a search. Also look here.
If you're not familiar with SPP, go to http://www.spp.gov

I'll let you decide whether you're for it or not. A lot of Americans don't know anything about all this.

The link says all the highways etc. already exist. Simply click on "NASCO Myths Debunked. "
Your first clue should have been "I recieved this from the Constitution party of Texas."
[QUOTE] SuperCorridor & NAFTA Highway Defined

SuperCorridor - not "Super-sized". As defined in Webster's dictionary, "Super" means "more inclusive than a specialized category". NASCO uses the term "SuperCorridor" to demonstrate we are more than just a highway coalition. NASCO works to develop key relationships along the EXISTING corridors we represent to maximize economic development opportunities along the NASCO Corridor, as well as coordinate the development of technology integration projects, inland ports, environmental initiatives, university research, and the sharing of "best practices". NASCO is particularly focused on coordinating the efforts of local, state and federal agencies and the private sector to integrate and secure a multimodal transportation system along the existing "NASCO Corridor." While I don't think this corridor is any big deal, I do agree that something's afoot economically with SPP. The EU came about economically and because of the freedom of travel between countries in Europe. Is it a real coincidence that now that most people in the US would like to have our border security much tighter there are many in the halls of Congress that are pushing for a more unified economic identity? I honestly don't think so.

The immigration issue has, quite frankly, puzzled me. There is overwhelming popular support for real, tangible immigration and border security reform amongst the citizens, yet it's either being ignored by our lawmakers or something completely different from what the people want is put forward by others (including President Bush). This alone tells me that when political animals such as we have in Washington are daring to snub their noses at popular opinion, something is going on.

While what I've read of the Constitution party is pretty "far out there" and alarmist, that doesn't mean they're ALL wrong about everything. Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

It's a big thing. Not just the I-35 NAFTA superhighways, but even more NAFTA highways being attached and rail lines being added.

Here they are already starting to develop a large intermodel port for Rail to Truck coming from Houston and Mexico. The city is spending hundred million dollars raising the railroad tracks above all the streets throughout the entire North South length of the city.

Also, there is another proposed NAFTA highway from El Paso to Wichita called the SPIRIT corridor that just made it in the DOT as a high priority corridor. Along with the proposed Interstate 66. Interstate 35 is going to be a very high traffic area.

I did a little research on the NAFTA Superhighway story. There is a LOT of buzz on the internet about this.
Unfortunately, all I saw was from fringe groups and bloggers.
Interestingly enough, both right wing and left wing are represented.
It seems all the tinfoil hatted bloggers are riled up big time.
CNN? FOX? NYT? not a peep that I could find.
One would think that Bill OReilly or Lou Dobbs would be all over this story!
Haven't they heard about it?
Or are they part of the conspiracy too?
