That's BS! if they made a deal, that's it. Jeeez!

Not the guys fault, imo... the salesman gave him a good deal, the salesman is the one that should be responsible.

If the guy has the contract, I hope the court sides with him.

What a way to do business...

I don't understand why this isn't grand theft auto? If they guy has the signed paperwork and the title, he is the owner of the truck. Doesn't matter if it was sold for a dollar.

I'd be after them for grand theft auto, breach of contract, time lost, etc. And I'd damn sure have that truck impounded as evidence before it gets "sold" again.

Wow, Just wow. Just goes to show how low some dealers will still go to make a fast buck. The Idea that the sale was in dispute and they were trying to sell it to another customer wouldn't have me thinking about legale action, calling a lawyer would have been the first thing I would have done!!! After calling the cops.

The truck I just bought has a simular thing happen. They listed it in the Auto Trader at $2,500 less than what it should have been. I looked at the truck a couple times, but it was just a bit pricey for me. I ran down and pretty much bought the truck when I saw it listed $5,775 less than the last time I looked at it. When the salesman told me it was a mistake on the price, they still honored it. He told me they already put in the change in the magazine and I checked when I got home that night and it was listed $2,500 more than it was last time I looked.

Mine is an 03 Chevy too.

Years ago (aorund 88 or so), a local dealership had a "push, pull, tow" your old car in and recieve $1000 towards the purchase of a new one.. A neighbor hauled in 1/2 cars since the ad didnt say there was a limit.. he drove away in a blue 1/2 at a super great price.. ever since then, they have the limit at 1 now

I just looked them up, found the contact person (Jennifer Gunn) and sent her an informative email as to the how the actions of Bill Heard Chevrolet is appearing on the internet. Waiting on a response. Should be interesting if she replies. I'll post it if she does.
