**** this crap !!!!!

Back about 1994 I had this REAL cute roomate. She was abit of a wirdo--smoked WAYYY too much grass for my liking, but basically once she put on a bikini I didnt worry too much about other shortcommings <grin>

so, Long weekend, (this girls name was line) labour day 94 this hot blonde rommie pulls up in front of the appartment, with an even hotter island girl in the passenger seat. After I got my eyes off the floor and my toughne able to speak again---I ended up picking up this Island girl (whos name was joan). 2 kids and 12 years later she is my greedy ex who i wish I had never layed eyes on.

I kinda lost track of lyn in the intevening years--we would bump into each other, and promise to come over for a visit--but it never happened. Last time I saw her 2 years ago, out of the blue somebody tapps me on the shoulder, I turn around, and get a kiss that would curl a pornstars toes. LMAO--I wasnt compaining--just hoping I didnt get caught by the new wife :-)

Couple of fishermen found Lynes body floating in the river a couple weeks ago. Still no leads on who put her there as far as I've heard.

I know her--sheeet, I lived with her for 2 years and listened to her sleep-talk for a fair part of that.. She didnt get drunk, she didnt get stoned, she didnt have an accident. That wasnt her

Now---what keeps going thru my mind--how life might have been different, that one afternoon--if I had kept what I had instead of picking up the new thing....I wouldnt have had 2 great kids--but maybee I would have with a cute blonde, if you know what I mean....

sorry guys---I'm used to friends kicking off, getting hurt, ect--it happens. But sometimes, it happens to somebody you never expect it to. I thought this old broad would outlive ME by about 30 years. I'm not supposed to be visiting her grave. I still want revenge for introducing me to my ex !!!

**** , this sucks.

Life is full of "what ifs"... Best to eliminate them as they come, so you never have to wonder...

Condolences.

Try not to dwell on the past, it does you no good. But I can understand how you feel, it sucks to loose anyone from our past, but suck even more when it was an ex.

Again my sympathy but let it go.

Go to the funeral and be comforting to all the others there. It’s over after that.

What ifs, I refer to the choices and thier possible outcomes, as shoulda's, woulda's and coulda's. for a long time I belived that I could eliminate the, having to wonder thing. the truth is that any time a choice is made there's going to be room for doubt. the best anyone can do is try to make the best decisions you can, I know, thats easier said than done.

I'm sorry to hear about your ex gf. I had a similar experience years ago, the killer was never found. It's one of those shoulda's that never completly goes away. I can understand the emotions that go along with this sort of thing.

Take care and be strong. Joe

Sad to hear under8ted. Similar things have happened to me. I can see your pain but do not mean to say I know how you feel. My sorrows go out to you and the others who knew Line.
I may be different but I say to enjoy these feelings of grief, anger, sadness, whatever they may be. The depth of your loss is a measure of your caring.

it's life, people are far to caught up in the ' what if ' I say if you got something good stick with it. Looks can be deceiving as you metioned your ex wife being greedy..

my dads in the same boat he could've retired from GM, but he decided to keep his marriage and had 3 kids. Well the marriage ended just a few weeks ago divorce is final, but he has 2 out of 3 sensible kids. My sister and myself, and I'm sure he's happy about us, my brothers kinda iffy.

that really sucks what happens, but don't look on the past. People can change in a heart beat for the better or worse. Things might've been good or might've been bad if you were with her, you just don't know. Just look at what you have now 2 kids, which you sound like you're proud of. I hope they find the person and give them what they deserve.

The only thing you can do in this life to keep your sanity and honor is treat people right while they are here. There are never any guarantees how long they (or you) will be here. It's always too late to say you're sorry when they're gone.
