Looking at getting one...but would like to hear from some owners before buying.

Any complaints? Anything I really need to know about? Should I or shouldn't I buy one?

Want something fun that the whole family can fit in and enjoy...trading in my '04 Quad-Cab Ram.

NO I don't personally know anyone that has one, but I do know first hand that the KY Highway Patrol has several of them as "Unmarked Traffic Enforcers" , they seem to be adequate to the job.

the officer driving it was pretty confident in it's capability over my 3800SC Fiero, I didn't challenge him cause, either way, I'd lose.

My imagination is the only limiting factor to my Fiero. Well, there is that money issue.

lol, yeah. The Houston guys also decided to buy at least one Charger as an unmarked police car (I'm sure that they'll be doing more than just giving tickets). I haven't owned one, so I don't know much though...

Yes any of the v6s are gutless. You have to get the Hemi. You pay more, but its worth more when you sell so you get it back. The Hemi gets better milage than the v6. 5spd auto vs 4 spd, and MDS. My best friend bought a v6 Magnum and it was pretty lame. He kept it a year and just picked up an 06 Charger Daytona with the Hemi and likes it much better. About a month old and hes already got wheels and catback exhaust on it. Just for info, a new 05 (still can find them) gets a 7/70,000 warranty and 06 gets typical 3/36,000. I dont have a single complaint, in fact, I already got a Challenger ordered and paid for with the same engine and trans. My only problem in 3rd year is one rear power window that occasionally sticks till I smack the door panel. Ill get that fixed one of these days under warranty. He had little bit of trouble with his v6 Magnum. Pinion seal leaked, 3 Goodyear tires were out of round all fixed under warranty. Only thing with his Charger so far was a nick in one wheel, and a tiny bubble in the side decal stripe.

I have to agree with what has been said about the V-6 cars, Iv'e got a friend that has a Magnum with the 2.7 ( yeah thats right a 2.7 in a car the size of a magnum!!! The salesman did a bait and switch, having Bill drive the 3.5 and closed the deal on a 2.7) it's a comfortable car with no power. the lesson here is make sure that thing has a HEMI !!!

Cheers Beers n Gearz. Joe
