When you go on vacation, plane tickets, hotels, rental cars, the works. Don't you think it's a good idea to know where you're actually going?

Seems like that would all be useful information.

Any particular reason why?
I go to the USA and other countries with no planned itinery, no accommodation etc etc.
Never seems to be a problem.
All most ask for-if anything-is proof you can afford to support yourself while in that country.
Haven't been asked for that yet either.

Sometimes it's nice to take a road trip with no destination - just see where the road takes you.
But if you're flying, it would be good to know where you're going to land.

I had to explain to the guy on Friday, he was flying out on Saturday morning, that St. Thomas & The Virgin Islands were off the SE coast of Florida. Not in Mexico. For those who've have read some of my other posts, you know who I'm talking about. He continues to boggle the imagination. lol I just found the whole thing hysterical.
