What credit card company comes to your mind as you read the topic of this thread?

Don't read the whole thread. Don't comment about other posts in this thread. Just post what one card/company came to your mind the second you saw this topic.

I have an important business reason for this thread. Please do not fart around. When you think credit cards, what companies and what adverts come to mind first?

Chase Visa

Can I go for two?

AT+T Universal Card

Hopefully I'll have all mine dealt with in a few weeks, not an optimumn outcome but the future is looking a bit more hopeful than it has for the last year.

Capital One, seems like there's always commercials for them. "What's in your wallet?"

Mastercard, but that's because I have a balance on it. Then I thought Visa.

The ones I have. Also, the ones my wife has.
I am not much into credit. I have a MasterCard (USAA) and A Valero (used to be called Diamond Shamrock) gas card. My wife, well, she has them all ! Especially women's clothing store cards. JC Penny's, Radio Shack,.......I type slow and her card file is like two or three inches thick. I did recently get a Home Depot and Lowes card as we recently bought a house. They were twelve months interest free.
She makes the minimum payments and is litterally giving her money away in interest.

Advanta Bank Business card. Just because I get 3% back if I purchase 50,000.00 or more per year and I do. Discover also for the 2% back at the end of the year. I use the Discover for personal use.

Don’t believe in credit cards but I do have a VISA debit card for when I work away from home and order junk.

Beware!

(Beyond that... Visa, Discover and AMEX. --have one of each, and use them in that order.)

Well, two thoughts. What first came to mind was my chase cards--one personal, one business. I have them because they have good rewards (cash back) programs, and I never carry a balance, so I'm not worried about the interest.

Then, when you mentioned advertisements, I immediately thought of Capitol One. Their ad campaign is great...mostly because I think the majority of the "what's in your wallet" ads are quite stupid. It does make you remember them though.

I think of the 2 cards I currently carry: Household Bank and Providian (Washington Mutual).

No big name cards or ads came to mind. As I was reading your post about thinking about the big name cards, etc., I was reminded of the "Capital ONE - What's in Your Wallet?" ad campaign. But I don't have one of theirs.

Visa.......Only because it was the last card I owned 20years ago when I bought into the banksters hype. I've been getting by quite happily without one since then, and without a bank account for the past 10 or so.

They have been pretty good to me too, as far as credit card companies go that is. They could sure have a lot more $$$ in their own wallet if they stopped sending me so much junk mail. Geez, I'm already a customer.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express (original), and Discover ... in that order.

(For the sake of full disclosure, I am a merchant that accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover ... but not American Express. I personally carry Visa and American Express cards for both personal and business use.)

Visa

It's the one I use, I don't really pay attention to commercials at all... couldn't think of a commercial for any credit card company, for that matter. Wait, those "priceless" ads. Meh.
