So, I have had my email address for almost two years. No SPAM. Then (I would like to say I was drunk) I went for a free laptop pitch. Me, the Dunce. 50 Spams a day. What should I do ? I have tried "click here to opt out". I knew it wouldn't work. Short of only allowing only approved e-mail addresses......... I think my e-mail address is on my "permanent record". Change e-mail address? I had no SPAM. None.
Ugh, You are a double dunce! *whapps ya with the "duuuuh" wand once on each shoulder.
You clicked the "opt out" That's even WORSE!
Don't open the spam, (or allow it to "prieview" if you are in Outlook/Outlook express and see how things are in a few months, or set up a filter that will weed out some of them.
or get a new email address. or go get something like a postini account... http://postini.com/
Sorry man, but just think, now you can find out how much longer and harder you can become, with just a few pills!

I feel ya! My spam box on yahoo gets hit with about 150/day. I used to go through them to make sure good mail doesn't get misrouted, now I just say screw it.

That's why I like my Earthlink service. Their spam blocker works exceptionally well. Only people on my "approved" list have their emails delivered. Anyone else gets an auto-reply explaining why they were bounced and provides a link for them to request to be added to my list. That way if it's a real person, they can fill out the request, but auto-spammers don't get through. It's worked quite well for several years.

I still say spammers should be set to prison to share a cell with big burly guys who's taken herbal viagra, penis enlargements, and been promised a frackbuddy...

I like Google's gmail. It lets spam in but puts it into a seperate folder. If you would like an account just PM me with your email address, I have to have it to email the invite.

Thanks. But I don't think so. Sounds good. The thing is.......Google is too big. Just like AOL and the United States government.
