I'm off to work in 30 minutes. I.........................LOVE............................MY............................LIFE. No, really! I do. I REALLY do. Really.
I got to have fun crawling through a storm sewer until about three o'clock. Got a little sunburned too. But at least I probably won't get paid for doing it. Had to assist a vacuum truck crew clean out a length of pipe one of our other employees ended up filling full of sand when he grabbed an eight-inch water main that was uncovered and in plain sight. Still don't understand why he wasn't made to go out and help instead of me. But I got to watch a big vacuum suck a bunch of sand out of a length of pipe. Kind of made me miss my old girlfriend. lol But I got home, got my new steering wheel installed and the horn working, so the day wasn't a complete loss.

I worked yesterday until 10:00 P.M. , got today off by a scheduling error, got tomorrow off because I asked for it 3 weeks in advance, and am working Monday 8-5. Haven't had two days in a row off in a LONG time.
lemme see... I'm thinking of taking sunday off... working 12 hours monday during the day for once.... then the next 3 or 4 nights 12 hour shifts....... its complicated.... BTW i'm at work now... till 6:30 a.m.

Had to work yesterday for 5 hours installing a duplex water softener in a friends house in Selbyville Delaware. I did it for cost because they let us stay at their house when we vacation in Ocean City Maryland which is 5-6 miles from their house. I didn't even get to see the beach this weekend. I left Thursday night and am back home Saturday night for a family picnic. The thing is they now have no iron in their water which was very high. It was staining all the fixtures in their new house.

I worked all day today with 3 fans, a cooler full of ice cold pepsi's, and 98 rock (baltimore) blasting from my garage. I have officially removed every nut, bolt, fastener, (even tried removing the rear window.... LOL tried!) anything removeable from front to back of the old Calico 87 GT, except the front suspension, cross bar, rad support(bottom) and the two front brake lines(tommorrows project!)
oh, and the windshield (it has a crack in the top corner)

Went to a job interview and made a deal to work for a shop, a nationally known turbo shop... been dead here and I need some income. I need to get a transaxle changed out in a caravan tomorrow, I've been putting it off because I can't lift it high enough in my shop and it's been raining all week. So been off job hunting instead of making money on the one thing I have to work on. Tommorrow it'll go up on jack stands, I don't have any shops around anymore that I can just go use their lifts. Sucks when all your shop contacts die off or close.

just sat down to eat a late lunch after using air chisel to cut off the rear end of the frame of the GT im scrapping, and the decent trunk. cut the smashed frame ends off the project car and the smashed trunk (only bad part of car) with the air chisel, got them all lined up for the guy I have coming to weld em on. 4 hours of cutting.... thank god I have safety glasses, earplugs, and a hose to wet down the dust so the chisel doesnt losen it all up and blow in my eyes. so im on pff now chillin, bout to go back outside and do more project work.
