Quite a few Fiero owners also drive motorcycles. Could be very handy now with the high gas prices. What ya got?

My 1985 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Interstate (now sold) and my 2000 Honda GL1500 Goldwing Aspencade

No pics on me, but I ride a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R(the 636!) I've also got a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

The 636 is too fast. It's insane what modern supersports can do.

don't know if "has beens" are welcome on this page but i used to have a 00 GSX1300R HAYABUSA that i had bought new. it was maroon & gray. i rode the living crap out of it, did numerous 195-200 MPH runs. those speeds were verified with a in pocket GPS, the speedo at those speeds was reading 215-220MPH. the bike was stolen in Phoenix.

I ride a 2002 Suzuki SV650S. Maybe next year I'll look for a bagger type of bike.

Honestly the last bike I would ever buy would be a Buell Blast. The bike vibrates so much and handles like crap. Maintiance is a nightmare (rocker box gaskets come to mind) Don't get me wrong Buell makes nice bikes but the Blast is not one of them.

I got a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 600 for now. I'm going to look around at some of the dealers and see if they have any new 750 Katanas and either sell or trade in the Bandit.

2001 GL 1800 just over 30k miles. CB, Heated grips/seat, 6-disc CD changer, Cruise Control, weather band radio, 1.8 liter flat 6 w/ 125 hp. I just started pulling a Kwik Kamp pop-up camper with it this last weekend. Pics here in the "camper" thread. What a great combination!

1997 Honda Magna V-4...it's a cruiser, but I like to cruise all day at 80 mph, and I pass Harleys all day long, puttin' along at 65, because their engines won't take a long distance high speed cruise. HD had a crack at a motor designed by Porsche (they were thinking of diversifying their lineup) and passed it up because they were too worried about what their market would think. HD's loss. I think they should continue building big V-twins, but having something else to offer would give them a share of the market in a segment now dominated by the Japanese, who are now building bikes that sound like Harleys as well as look like them, as well as being more reliable for a chunk less money. I believe in American made and all that, but HD is painting themselves into a corner.
Anyway, sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, back to topic.

It is a 2001 ZX7R motor (Ninja for those playing at home) I believe it is 122 hp which is pretty cool from a little 750. It g0t 60+ mpg too, over 70 hwy. I sold it about a month ago to a guy that wanted it a lot more than I did.... $$$$$ IT was sure a fun car....got more attention at shows than $100k+ cars did.

Own three bikes;

1995 Ninja ZX7R

1997 Suzuki Marauder

Just can't seem to find much time to through a leg over them.

They are real cheap to buy used. They don't hold they're value near as well as a regular sportbike because they aren't near as popular here in the states. Mines a '04 that I bought just this summer for $6000 when they are $8000-8400 brand new. Pretty quick too, especially since I geared down -1 on the front + 2 on the rear.

I'm always keeping my eye out for a Ninja 250 for my wife... I'm hoping to find a decent one for around $1500 - she sat on one at a local dealership recently & loved it! Definitely the #1 starter bike out there!

I get 45mpg w/ my Gold Wing. Interestingly enough, I got 40 mpg while pulling my 300lb camper!

The last major change was in 1988, since then they have been virtually the same (there was an ignition change in the late 90's requiring different spark plugs). Make it very easy/cheap to maintain (I like to call them the s-10's of the motorcycle world). For those with EX250's check out www.ninja250.info

It's actually the silver-silver.

Much like that one.

Used to own a 95 cbr600f3 myself, the purple/black one. The CBR was my favorite bike of the four I have owned(also owned a katana 750).

The 636 is nice... a bit uncomfortable... but incredibly fast. 350lbs and over 120hp(mine isn't exactly stock, lol).
The F3 was so comfortable and easy to ride, still was fast. I'd probably trade my 636 for a smokin joes edition with low miles.
The 500R is ok for scooting around town and tearing up the twisties. It's so easy to ride this bike fast around the corners. Slow in a straight line.
The Katana was decent. Ugly, extremely heavy and slow... faster than the 500 but slower than the cbr. It was comfortable at speed though.
