Apparently the old saying, "If it seems to be too good to be true, it probably is" was proved once again in Indiana. Scammers actually packaged stolen oven doors and shipped them to unsuspecting consumers as $250.00 flat screen TVs.

I have no idea why the crooks bothered to send ANYTHING to the victims.
And yes, I checked to see if this was just an April fools joke, and it APPEARS to be real.
Or is it?

That's what I don't get. They're going to a lot of trouble to dress these up and package them, and once you have the money, why bother? You also commit two crimes by stealing the doors, too. Doesn't make sense.
