I know it's early but the radio stations are playing Christmas music and it got me thinking....what don't I want for christmas this year. Since it's impolite to actually say what you don't want, do it here.
I do not want a gift certificate to TGI Fridays I do not want ANY food (Including fruitcake, (insert fruit here)bread) I do not want a jogging suit
next....

I'm not a Christian and I still "celebrate" it because today its not a Christian holiday, its a commercial holiday. Santa Claus, the tree, etc, aren't part of the Christian tradition. The date is a rough estimate on Christ's birth, it is not exact. And the tree is from old pagan yule festivals.
What I don't want for Christmas? I don't want ANY clothing! I have enough!

christmas? pay no attention to the latecomers trying to scarf up pagan holidays. i celebrate because i can. in a pinch there's always saturnalia or winter solstice.
I celeabrate no religious days. I don't bow to fictional gods. July 4th is the only day I give a hoot about. New Years is ok but I don't really party. Beeing Irish I find St. Pats to be shameful, he wasn't Irish and there were no snakes to begin with. If only you christians understood that not one of your hollidays is not a pagen day to start with. I could go on but I won't.

I don't normally get much of anything for Christmas, but the one thing I do wish I got is a fruitcake. I happen to like it, but nobody ever sends me one.

Hah, I'll send you one, if not for being such a great warehouse of technical knowledge, but for siding with me on arguments too!

I don't want every person I see to say "Merry Christmas" not everybody is a cristian. It's not a holliday for me.
ummm dude..christmas doesn't have to have any thing to do with being christian. We were puting up christmas trees and santa clause giving out gifts long befor the christians decided to celebrate it as jesus's birthday

Aw, in the spirit of Christmas, I'll see if I can find you one. Just post your address and I'm sure you'll have more fruitcake than you know what to do with!
Seriously, fruitcake jokes aside, I don't know that I've ever been the recipient of one, so I can't render an opinion...
OOOO I know what I don't want. I don't want people to get my birthday and x-mas eve mixed up since they are the same day. Why do they have to wrapp my b-day presents in x-mas paper you don't do that on anyone elses b-day they would look at you funny. Sorry it a pet peeve of mine I had to get it out.

...A bunch of whiners telling me all about how "Christmas isn't even a Christian holiday". Damn, too late!
(j/k guys! Don't shoot me )
Seriously, Some day I hope to get more than a card and a check supposedly from my dad yet looking suspiciosly like my step-mom's handwriting...

Both of my parents died right before Christmas '99, I can tell you that that check and card would be better than never getting anything ever again from your parents.

Awwww you're all such a bunch of cry-babies! Actually, if there is a fruit cake in the house, I will be the only one eating it.
I will try to avoid all of the TV commercials that make you feel guilty unless you run the credit cards to the limit. I do want to go to the mall and watch all of the "happy shoppers".
I haven't really decided how I want to celebrate this year besides being on the Church's Christmas play. No, I'm not going to be an angel this year!
