be careful if your out in central park at night and your batterys die and you need to recharge them.. some cop might not take lightly to it.. LOL

I for one see it as a killlller invention for cavers or miners.. I mean hell you could be lost till you run out of food and air but atleast you'll always have light. with this puppy you really only need 2 light sources.. but drop it in a ravien and well you better have some glow sticks on you.. LOL

I've seen it before too. I decided to order one to try out. I rather would have one of those in my car than one with regular batterires that could leak.

Good I guess for an emergency, but they are dim. They also don't last long at all, maybe a few minutes at a time. I'd rather carry a light that uses lithium batteries as they don't discharge nearly as quickly as regular batteries and they last longer as well. Downside to them is they are more expensive, but if you use the light just for emergencies as is then it doesn't really matter. Ditto. I keep a mini-mag converted to LED with lithium AA's in the car. Lithiums won't leak and they have a ten year + shelf life. The LED in the minimag is brighter than the standard bulb and runs over 30 hours of continous use on a set of batteries. I've seen those shake lights and they are too dim for most uses.

Yes, they aren't good "spotlights" they provide more of a "gentle glow".
