there is nothing u can do really to reduce ping. except moving closer to your isp or to the server. Just try to find servers with the lowest ping. anything under 200 will usually be a lag free game.
increasing download speeds is antoher story thogh. I just got my 3mbit dsl line activated, check out these speeds i get now.
