Look out lightning.....
<< Dodge's high-performance Ram SRT-10 pickup truck will be going into production. The automaker, however, didn't disclose specifics on launch timing, pricing or volume.
The truck will have the same engine as the 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10, an 8.3-liter 500-hp V10 that produces 500 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Ram SRT-10 has a six-speed manual transmission and, Dodge says, will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5 seconds. Top speed is 150 mph.
Exterior features include 24-inch wheels and choice of red or black.
The Ram SRT-10 was developed by a new group within Chrysler called Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO). This group will be responsible for producing motor sports vehicles and low-volume, on-road specialty vehicles.
Products included in this group are the Viper SRT-10, which will be in showrooms this fall, and the Dodge SRT-4 Neon. >>
