Z MAX and the tornado tube. Do eather of them really work ? I was just wondering Cuss I was thinking of getting them if they help keep my engine cooler.
isn't ZMAX the same think as chevron's Techron ?

Don't know about zmax. There have been reports of the fins breaking off those tornado things & going down the intake when mounted directly on the tbi or carb. They don't work. Money is better spent on a die grinder & do a port job.

my friend has a Tornado in his 87 4-cyl coupe and had it in there for quite some time and he said it works great and you can feel the difference immediately. ZMax is suppose to be bad. It contain chemicles that do long term damage. ZMax is a temporary fix and your suppose to add it like twice a year but a couple years down the road you'll start having problems with your engine. If there was any safe way to improve oil, then oil companies would have done it by now.
