Some of the stuff in that article is a big load of !
They're basically blaming declining CD sales on "internet piracy" ...not on $18 new release CDs. Either way, I hope they do lower the base price to $9.

Now if the videos and DVDs come down to around $5, ill buy them instead of using illegal pay per view decoder.

Blockbuster sells used videos for about that price... we have a rather large video library of pre-viewed videos.

I can remmember 2.98 lp's and 69 cent singles
damm beatles were first at 3.98 high list price in 64
but movie tapes were 85$ each when new

Yea most CD prices are outrageous! I just paid close to $30 for a Metallica CD. but it was worth it , ...And justice for all owns!
