I'm just wondering who everyone's favorite concerts have been? For me it'd be:
- Offspring (saw them this summer, best show I've ever seen!) - MxPx - Brian Adams/ Tom Cochrane (same show) - Slick Shoes - Dogwood/ Undecided (same show, 2 bands) - Less Than Jake - Five Iron Frenzy/ POD/ W's (festival) - Bif Naked/ Static in Stereo/ Live on Release
that's all I'll post, trying to keep the list short.
Now some bands I wish I'd been around to see:
- Supertramp - Queen - The Cars - Boston - CCR (but I did see Credence Clearwater Revisited with the original drummer, and bassist, and the guitarist from The Cars)
And finally, bands I have to see yet before I die:
- Phil Collins - Ghoti Hook - Reel Big Fish - Goldfinger - Sum 41 - Blink 182 - New Found Glory - Our Lady Peace - Matthew Good Band - Metallica
Ok, that's enough from me, I'm sure there's more I could add. I'm a music lover! I'm always listening to it. Now let's hear from you!

Seen Ani DiFranco 3 times and each concert was totally different mood/vibe, all were great. John Prine - feels like having a musically talented uncle over for dinner. Rush - Tour of the hemispheres with April Wine '78? Hank Williams Jr. '80 pretty good show for a drunken wild man. Ted Nugent/Black Oak Arkansas - '77 lots of fun but probably lost some hearing. Blue Oyster Cult - '7? - too funny.
Oh yeah, and BUCK OWENS at the Chicken Lips Saloon in Landers, CA. 1990

I know! First time I ever heard anything other than I'm afraid of Britney Spears was at their concert, and they were intense! I was really impressed!
and add:
And I did see Alien Ant Farm at the Warped Tour at the same time as I saw Less Than Jake, but that was in July, and I didn't know 'em that well yet. Rancid, Pennywise, Me First and the Gimme Gimme's, and others were there too, good day!
Wish I coulda seen Rush and Pink Floyd, I love them!
Here's a list of all the concert's I went to and liked.

Actually I saw them at the Back Alley on October 1st. Don't suppose you were here by any chance? When I was in line to get in me and my friends were talking to this guy who had been following them around and going to most of their shows. I hope they come back soon, I can't wait to see them again, and hopefully I'll get to meet them, the lead singer's HOT!

heh, no I wasn't there.. I'm pretty sure you are talking about my friend Shaun.. he was there with his brother Steve I think. He usually does the shows on the West coast and I do the East coast shows. LOR knows me and Shaun. We have met them on several occasions. They are really cool people.
That's me in the middle.. I can't wait to see them again this summer. I'm going to do every show in Quebec and a lot of them in Ontario. BTW, their new CD should be out this summer.

Forgot to say I loved the music when I saw Dan Fogelberg & Tim Weisburg. They weren't going to play together in the same set, but some rain (at King's Island in Cincinnati) changed their plans - and I'm glad it did! It was a reuniting of their Twin Sons of Different Mothers album, but soon after the concert they released a sequel No Resemblance Whatsoever, which was a little too mellow.

BEST SHOW ALLMOND BROTHER BAND[BOTH BROTHERS AS A WARM UP BAND FOR SPIRT BUT WAY BETTER THAN MAIN ACT 1970. PINK FLOYD FIRST LINE UP 68 MIAMI ROCK FEST DOORS MIAMI DINNER KEY SHOW [YES THAT ONE] JIMMY BUFFETT AS A LOCAL BAR SHOW AT MY BAR NO COVER OR CROWD EARLY 70'S DEAD FREE SHOW IN PARK+STP NOT ANDY G'S 68 BRUCE IS THE BOSS IN A STADIUM SHOW IN 80'S POLICE,ROLLING STONES,PAUL McC,BILLY JOEL,ELTON JOHN, NOT FAR BEHIND
i took my g/f to a backstreet boys concert for her birthday. It was pretty good to watch it, but i had to cover my ears cause it was so loud. Freaking teenagers screaming and i couldn't hear, ANY of the music.
my fav is going to a Andrew Dice Clay concert. I would like to see dangerfield too before he passes away.
I hate being in crowds and traffic so i hate going to concerts. Except when monster trucks come to Chicago. We have a small ass stadium, but its great when the engines are so loud to break ear drums.

Allman Brothers actually played the Junior-Senior prom at my high school, a couple of years before I went there. Would have loved to see Spirit. "12 Dreams of Doctor Sardonicus" is one of my favorites. Always thought that "Natures Way" sounded like McCartney.

gonna tell my age here. steppenwolf in Houston in '69. ZZ top but can't remember where. Worst was Jerry Lee Lewis in the mid 70's. He was so drunk, couldn't find the piano bench. Cursed worse than any sailor. Oh yeah, saw Paul Revere & Raiders in Memphis, Don't ask why, it sucked just like they did.
Hmm, the best concert has to be AC/DC. After that, I think the Metallica Black tour and Loaded tour rocked too. Oh yeah, I'm going to see Kim Mitchel this Friday too, I'll have to break out the florescent orange hat for that one.

*Worst* concert I ever saw was Aerosmith, in the Omni. This was back in their "toxic twins" days. They came out and played for about 30-45 minutes and left. Sound wasn't even set up properly. I was royally PISSED!
Wasn't a total loss, though. Mahogany Rush was the opening act. Blew Aerosmith completely away.
Are you getting the idea that I'm having fun in this thread?

(8) The Temptations at the Regal Theater in Chicago (longer ago than I want to remember. The building's been gone for 20 years.) (7) Hendrix at the Riviera (I was 12 and my former manager took me.) (6) AC/DC at the Chicago Stadium(1994) (5) Michael Jackson in Amsterdam (early 90's...say what you want about him....one hell of a live performance) (4)Last summer's OZZFEST at Tweeter Center (I happen to like Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson) (3) Madonna's Blonde Ambition tour date in Miami (2) Frankie Beverly & MAZE at the Holiday Star Theatre last year
and #1...Judas Priest and Blue Oyster Cult at Monsters of Rock Festival in Dublin (1983).....Yeah, I'm an old fart too!

O{+-> was pretty amazing. What else can you say?
Saw Stryper twice, once even became temporary lighting crew!

Like to see: Creed (!!!), Staind and Shania.

First, let me say some things. Bif Naked is awesome. Love her. For the Styx fans..don't hate me, but remember the drummer that passed away? I know his nephews. So I can get front row tix and backstage passes when they come to town!! Ok.
I haven't been to MANY concerts, but this is my list.... 1996: First concert...Q101 Jamboree (That's a local radio station) Fifth row to SO many bands. Sweet. 1997: NO DOUBT!!! I LOVE THEM!! Gwen is SO hot. If I was a dude....anyhow 1998: Metallica Pretty sweet show. INTERESTING crowd. Almost got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer. Fun. 2000: Free concert. Not too thrilling. 2001: Free concert at the House Of Blues with Poe. Another one of my favs!! She rocked out. I even got to meet her after the show. She is SO sweet and beautuiful. 2001: Tori Amos. Oh my god. I died and went to heaven. Tori is so beautiful and talented. Imagine being able to play a piano and a harpsichord at the same time, but playing two seperate melodies. Oh my god. I was in heaven. She came out and did three encores. I love her. I am hoping to catch Poe, Tori and No Doubt (new album coming out December 11!!) next time each of them comes to town. Other than that, I'm broke...so not too many concerts here.
