caught a deal on a 7 string schecter guitar and got it. i'm not being humble when i say i can barely play so the few times i've played with it my fingers got compleatly lost

interesting though. worth trying out if you get the chance.

7 string guitar? At least you won't have to worry about finding sheet music for it. Never heard of one. Is this a new thing?

not new, there have been some jazzers that have had them for years, and i think steve vai has had one for a while, but recently popular with some rockers. i think both guitarist in korn use them and others that play that style also. it a lower tuned string thats supposed to give a grungy (is that the right word?) kind of low end rumble.

I've always wanted a 12-string. But I would spend all my time tuning. By the time you're done with the last string, the first one would be off again!

you know me and pics. punch in 7 string guitar on ebay. there's always a couple there.

someone's selling a schecter a7 that looks just like mine. which i found out wasn't a bargain. it's over $100 less, a bunch of them are.
