Gee, no. You must be the first person to make that connection. Congratulations. Your parents must be very proud of your gift for discerning the obvious.

reminds me of a website idea I got one night while reading thru ilovebacon.com....

not sure that the "donut patrol" would be a popular site though.

It's the Sprinkle brothers, I've heard of them.

Actually donuts are over rated among cops, we really prefer Twinkies.

Theres nothing like someone who thinks he's the first person to post a cop/donut joke,
haha (big sigh as I roll my eyes)

I still do not believe it is a good idea for our public officials to be strung out on sugar and coffee while at the same time carrying a gun. To dangerouse in my opinion.

I see cops at doughnut shops all the time late at night. Why? 'Cos they're the ONLY THING OPEN. They seem to mostly order Bagels and lots of coffee...

Finally! Another cop (sorry, Deputy) who owns a Fiero.

Cripes, I thought I was the only one.

My7Fieros, we need to trade patches, if you're interested E-Mail me.

Remember folks, how many times have you heard of a Donut Shop getting held up?

As I sit here coming down from the 2-3 pots of coffee, drinking Dr. Pepper and eating molasses cookies. The only thing Cops have on us Geeks is Guns.
I spend most of my day looking at computer screens only to come home and look at this one. At least the donut shops are out in the sun.

I must confess, we in the small town of Mora do not have a donut shop.

The closest shop is about 1 hour/55 miles away.

I have found a Fiero, while it gets good mileage, can only hold about two days worth of donuts so the cost per donut goes up considerably when its time to make a run.

Please donate what you can to keep a small town cop happy.

Look forward to your E My7Fieros.

The line was used in two movies, the first one was:

"The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" made in 1948 and starring Humphrey Bogart.

The line was said by the character Gold Hat played by Alfonso Bedoya.

His character said, "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges.I don't have to show you any stinking badges."

The second movie was:

"Blazing Saddles" made in 1974 starring too many people to list.

A mexican said, "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!"

Just setting the record straight.

Hey do cops get free McDonalds in America. They do here.

So ours don't have a doughnut fetish. We just got a bunch of clowns running around pretending to be the law.

I must be missing out on all kinds of free stuff living in a small town.

Raydar, that line is familiar, what movie is it from?

"A man's got to know his limitations"
Clint Eastwood.

This happened at my city. I don't know when exactly, but there was this woman who came into a doughnut shop (Coffee Time), with a knife and demanded money from a clerk. The clerk said, "I don't think so".

Guess who was around a table nearby. You guessed it. Cops. They ganged up and got her arrested.

Morons.

Whoever would have thought they would raid a doughnut shop at 3:00 in the afternoon and doughnuts are cops favourite hangout in this city.

Note: I was told about this by a friend. I don't know if its true, I mean, how the hell can someone think of trying to hold up a store when there's cops around a table!

There was a scene in "Code of Silence" where the thugs are going to rob the bar where all the cops hang out after work. Needless to say, that plan failed.

It's from Blazing Saddles, too. As the Waco Kid (Gene Wilder) is explaining his situation to the Sheriff (Cleavon Little).

My dad loves blazing saddles. I watched it the other day. I like it when Gene does his fast draw but they don't show it. lol. And also when they are sneaking up on the gang to catch them and they see the KKK. Then the black guy gets their attention by saying, where are the white women?. lol. Its a great classic.
