Hey all, I have been on a training exersice at Ft. Polk La. since the 3rd of January. It has been cold and raining for the past 6 days. The sun finally came out today, but going to get cold. Just wanted to let you all know where i have been. Isn't the new army great, checking e-mail in the field. talk to you all soon.

Stay out of Leesville.
I had AIT there in early 1967. North Fort was called Tigerland then.

Off Limits locations were posted on a Wall in our orderly room. To be sure of these places we faithfully made a list before going to town. Being curious as to why they were off limits we had to check them out.

Came as close to getting killed in that town as I did in Nam. At the time it was one rough place.

Well 2birds, I'll let you know the status about email capabilities when I get to Kosovo in May.

I didn't get to drive around enough today to take the roof out though, must be nice to be in the Navy. lol
