Tonight I was at the checkstand buying some chocolate ice cream, when I spotted "Batboy" backs Gore" on the cover of Weekly World News" (or one of the tabloids). The picture
was of Mr. Gore with a small "batboy" attached to to his back, trying to bite his neck!!!

our Batboy sure gets around!!!

Hey, I wasn't trying to bite Al, I was tired and he was just giving me a piggy-back-ride (batty-back-ride?). This is the pic from the National Inquirer that earned me my nickname.

One of my caver buddies published that pic in our little cave club newsletter with a fictious story about me as a joke about eight years ago. Various batboy story have popped up occasionally in the tabloids in the last few years.
