Anybody here ever have a wooden boat? You'll have to put it in dry-dock every few years and re-varnish it. I don't think Maaco can do *that* for $299.95.

I kinda like the design. I don't like wood that much, but it must have taken some serious talent to do that. A quarter of a million bucks is more than I would ever spend on it, but once you figure the design time, build time and materials, it's probably worth that much.

The garbage cans in the background seem appropriate. I've worked with wood for the past 27 years; yes, it took a lot of time, and a degree of skill. It's still ugly. And stupid. Mike
