Hey everyone! It's been quite a while. I'm always on the lookout for another Fiero, and this one popped up on CL a coupe weeks ago, and the price has come down some. It's local too, and that makes it a big plus. Beautiful car, but apparantly the engine cradle is in very very bad shape. Thoughts? I'm very tempted to go over and make an offer, but wanted the experts to take a look.

Thanks!

Because it's an 88, somebody should try to save it, but that somebody would need ability and equipment.

$900, not sure about that. Other than that, I'd go for it. However, I'd have to sleep in the garage with it. My wife thinks my 88 is the 'other woman'. What would she say about twins??

It's going to be crunchy... the only way to get a real good look is to take the rear wheel well liners out... But that driver side trunk corner... not good.

The cradle broke and the axle ('excel' LOL) popped out, he bolted it back together and reinstalled the axle... I dunno man...

From the pics it looks scary. I've always wanted a black '88GT and this one is close. The rust does make me very nervous. Of course I wouldn't drive it anywhere, maybe up and down the driveway to move it around a little. I'm thinking buy a '88 cradle, swap over the motor so it's driveable. It would eventually have a L67 in it. Hmmmm.
