Midwest Fieros, in Omaha, NE is going to hold a Tech Day on Sunday, April 1st, 2012, with a rain date of April 15th, at Plaza Buick GMC in Omaha. Several of our members will be present to help you with any problems you may be having with your Fiero. Anyone in the surrounding area is welcome to stop by...even if you don't have a problem with your car! MWF is reorganizing, and placing the focus of our club in a new direction, and we're looking for new members. Times for the Tech Day have yet to be determined, but if you're interested, PM me and I'll get you the information...I will also be updating this post as I get more information. Come on out, have your car looked at, or just come and shoot the breeze!

Thanks, Dodge....I went ahead and did it, but I placed it here first as more people would likely see it here. We also have a Facebook page, for those interested. Run a search for "Midwest Fieros"...we are posting any pertinent information there as well. Hope you both come out!
If I could only trust my 3800 fiero to make it all the way there I'd definitely show up. Best of luck with the show, I'll see if I can't sneak up there on some PTO.

James don't worry about it. I have a car trailer if you need picked up. :-) I'm about half way for ya...
Mine isn't done, even if it were it isnt street legal. Dangit... guess I need to get a street fiero... LOL.
heh, I think it could drive onto a trailer :P. It would be sweet if it could make it down there but I really doubt you'd be up for driving down to NP to pick up and then dropping it back off. Even if I did pick up most of the gas.

I am moving to the Omaha area in the next month or 2 - would be great to meet up with some Fiero nuts. My first project once I get moved will be an LS/6 speed GT.
Well I've blocked off my calendar and I'll be in Omaha on the 1st for the meeting. I will be in my Nissan Sentra but I look forward to seeing everyone there!
I tried convincing some local fiero friends to come along but they couldn't make it .

Careful Pat, they have these things up there called seasons. Oh, and snow, don't forget snow. And ice, you're really gonna love the ice. What part of Omaha are you looking at moving to? I would say Millard if you have a choice.

Millard is a good area....but then, just about anyplace on the west side from the North to the South is good. As for weather? Today was near 80...global warming, baby!
Looking forward to your visit James!!! Car is coming along, just not as fast as I'd like... :-) It'll be nice to chat Fiero's & 3800sc swaps with someone with the same interest. Most people around here i talk to about it think im nuts... LOL Maybe I am????

James, and everyone, the Fiero Tech Day is in the employee parking lot on the East side of Plaza Buick-GMC, 119th and I Streets (just north of 120th and L) from noon until 4PM. Go North on 120th Street from the intersection with L Street. Turn right at the next stoplight...that will be I Street. Head East on I...you can't miss the building, it's on your right hand side. Turn right at the next intersection...you will have the building on your right hand side, and the employee parking lot will be on the left. There's a canopy over part of the parking lot...that's where we'll be. If you still aren't sure, PM me and I'll give you a cell phone number so that you can call for directions. Hope to see you there!

Met up with Fiero Racer in Hastings on the way down to Lincoln. I didn't get to see his car but the engine he had in his garage was pretty impressive. His race car should be pretty fun out on the track! Looking forward to the meet on Sunday. See you all there.

Had a great time at the event! I may not be able to come to all of the events due to my distance but I will try to make it to more. I'll post some pics when I get off the interstate.
I had lots of fun at this event. Was nice to get to meet everybody, and the best part was that my car ran better on the way home than it did on the way there!
suckerpunch - welcome to the forums! I'm glad to hear that you your car ran better on the way back, it was a little touch and go there at the end but I think that getting the end tightened up a little better might get you by until you can buy an egr tube. I was a little worried when we loosened it and that end came off in two pieces .
It was great to meet you, suckerpunch, and I'm glad that the group was able to help straighten out at least a few of your problems! James...it was great to see you again! It's been too long...hopefully, it won't be that long next time! I hope you don't mind....I "swiped" your photos to put up on our Facebook page. If you have a Facebook account, search for "Midwest Fieros", and check it out. You can request to join, and I'll add you.
Yes, Kyle...that IS your old GT. You should have stopped by....
I was planning on it until one of our jets decided to have an Auto-Spoiler issue and required our whole shop to come in and work 12s on the weekend. Waiting for the next event to pay a visit too. How did she look?
