I'm watching the latest series of Top Gear UK(18). On the star in a reasonably priced car segment he said his first car was a Fiero, hah. Jeremy called it a poor man's MR2. Neat. Lol

My god. I just got to that part. Didn't see your post but once he was talking about it, I nearly exploded of happiness. This man is forever cool in my books.

That is "neat" and "cool"??? I already dislike "poor man's Ferrari...
Hey, whatever keeps the masses thinking our cars suck, keeps more of them in our hands. I don't get offended by anyone's banter about Fieros anymore. You can't convince everyone. I just shrug and keep driving happily.
Was thinking the same thing. He did mention it was a yellow Fiero, but didn't mention the year or if it was a GT, SE, notchie, etc. So, we kinda don't have much to go from...Just a yellow Fiero.

Its my car and I will sell it for $500,000 Thats 1/2 the price of the Chrysler 300 that obama once leased.
I have no documentation, but I just have feeling that its mine.

saw it our rig and he also said it looked like a ferarri if you stood about 5 miles away - what he doesnt know is how much fun you can get out of it.
Saw this over a year ago and thought you guys would like like it - it is by an english comedian taking a view on the x factor and btw anne wydecombe was a politician (all will become clear) here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKiTW4J8NkQ

Fiero never made for the UK market so I doubt he has ever seen let alone sat in one ever.
He has no clue about engineering or mechanics, so his car opinions/advice have zero value for me. Unfortunately Top Gear has become a bit of a circus of drivel, the old version was much more relevant and had proper drivers presenting like Tiffany Needles, who can drive and knows what the various components do.

Clarkson of course is a persona though. His arrogance and blunt-force attitude are what's caused the modern resurgence and popularity of the Top Gear franchise. Hell I wouldn't be adverse to saying there's a good chance Jeremy knows a thing or two, but plays ignorant for the camera.
Regardless, it still stands that he probably never did get a chance to drive a Fiero. We're talking about a guy who we saw visibly enjoying a Camaro RS... how can you enjoy that and not enjoy a Fiero?
