In the near future, I will be painting my 86 Gold GT...... I have only seen 2 different pics of two tone paint jobs in the forum. I would love to see more pics or ideas of possible combination for my future paint job.

Here is mine sitting outside of Class. I had just completed it in class. Still have to wetsand and buff it out. I wanted something different then using the beltline to separate the colors

I am hoping to have it finished up this spring.

Try this one. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/072586.html
Go down to the bottom of the first page and look at Fastback88`s car It`s a red and black tear off paint job. This was my sons car that we painted. He had taken a trophy at the Dell`s Run in 2009. Don`t know how to put that picture to this post or I would have just posted the picture.

A good rule of thumb to think about when thinking about two-tone is to put the lighter color on the bottom. It fools the eye and makes the car look lower and sleeker- USUALLY

I've always like this style & BMWguru's orange & black them. Really wanted to do that one day but the colours I choose have recently been seen on a couple of other vehicles driving around toronto with the same style (honda & colbalt), black on top, brandywine on bottom.

What type of two tone... the half body versions or just 2 colors in general... I really like this paint job

on jimmyS car(now his girlfriends) the pics don't do it justice. the black fade doesn't show up as much. he painted the car himself. his new build named the sickness will be even better. he is thinking around the same idea but he won't tell anybody what it will be
